Just 16 months later …

Today, after a shockingly-long delay of 16 months since the previous release, I’ve finally put together the new version of ‘colordiff’, my utility for adding colour to the output of ‘diff’ listings. See the web site for details. Update: Actually, I’m doing myself an injustice. It was ‘only’ 14 months ago. 🙂

Is it ‘free’ or ‘Free’ or what?

LDAP

In the last few days, I have learnt about, installed, configured, populated and deployed an LDAP server as an email address book directory. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

Replies to comments via email

At the moment, if you make a comment on an article here, there is no way to know whether there has been a follow-up comment or reply, other than by checking back from time to time. I plan to add some functionality so that, so long as you leave your email address (which will never… (read more)
