I’ve seen various stories like this before, but nothing in the mainstream (UK) media. An article at the BBC reports that Mozilla-based browsers are gaining and that use of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has dropped (from close to 100%) to about 90%. This is still too high, of course, but I will not be surprised to see this trend continue.
Also, we had another excellent game of Enemy Territory yesterday evening, with five of the LUG-Radio crew involved. My server started to struggle with that many players, but some of them have sportingly offered to give me some cash to upgrade, which is very nice. If our alternative plan for using a different server doesn’t turn up the goods, this might be a good option.
