I was amused to read this
article which describes how the British government have got into
trouble by failing to appreciate that Microsoft Word documents
contain a lot of hidden data, especially when edited by a number of
different authors. If only they had read my article about Wny Microsoft Word can be bad for your
health, they might not have got into such a mess with the Iraq
Weapons Dossier. Still, it seems that they’ve learned their lesson,
because all future government documents are being published in PDF
format.
