According to Sophos,
the W32/Mimail-A worm could be big. Might be due to kick off in a
big way on Monday morning when everyone logs in, then again, that’s
been threatened before, so maybe we’ll just have to wait and see.
Then again, Sophos have issued an ’emergency alert’ about it, which
is fairly uncommon. Hopefully, most anti-virus software will have
been updated before most people realise it’s a problem. The
worm-carrying message appears to come from a systems administrator and talks about
‘your account’.
