On my way to work this morning by bike as usual, a wasp flew straight into my mouth. After a struggle which involved me trying to gouge it out of my mouth whilst attempting to slow down and stop the bike (avoiding both the bushes\/ditch on one side and cars\/buses on the other), the Evil Creature stung me on the inside of my top lip.<\/p>\n
Not nice. It was swelling up quite a lot, so I took a bundle of antihistamine just to be on the safe side, and got a short-notice GP’s appointment. The doctor basically did the ‘chocolate-teapot routine’ “Well, what do you expect me<\/i> to do about it? The swelling will go away, you’ll be OK.”<\/p>\n
A most excellent start to a Monday, thank you very much. Just wondering whether this is a karma ‘payback’ for something I’ve already done, or whether it’s just setting me up for something good in the next few days … \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
