So I haven’t posted anything here for ages. Christmas, New Year, general laziness etc.<\/p>\n
Anyway, quick catch-up, divided into two. Christmas presents brought me quite a few books and a number of CDs, as usual: all good, though. I’m reading the latest Pratchett<\/a> and also a book about the intricacies of WW2 called Europe At War: No Simple Victory<\/a>. Both good books for completely different reasons.<\/p>\n I also bought myself a copy of the canonical OpenBSD<\/a> tome. As a result, I’ve learnt quite a lot about it and intend to put this into use at some point soon. OpenBSD is traditional Unix done right<\/em> and learning about it provides a good history of how the different flavours of Unix came about, and the differences between them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" So I haven’t posted anything here for ages.
