It is a project to take a photograph at every intersection of whole numbers of lines of latitude and longitude.  For example, the nearest &#8220;confluence&#8221; to me is at 52 degrees North and 1 degree West, which is in the middle of <a href=\"http:\/\/confluence.org\/confluence.php?lat=52&#038;lon=-1\">a field in Buckinghamshire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What is remarkable is that, looking through all the intersection points, almost all of them are in &#8216;rural&#8217; areas, or in the sea of course.  The only intersection I could find in a city was in <a href=\"http:\/\/confluence.org\/confluence.php?lat=-12&#038;lon=-77\">Lima, Peru<\/a> (12 degrees South and 77 degrees West).  I won&#8217;t admit to the length of time that was spent looking for that.<\/p>\n<p>There are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitals.com\/dcp\/dcp3a.htm\">composite maps<\/a> which show the pictures overlaid on a map of the world.
