Good online security guide

Sounds like NatWest have finally got their act together regarding online security etc. – proper support of alternative browsers too, as I mentioned recently.

Recently found this page discussing all the things you should do to keep your PC and personal information safe and secure, both online and offline. Quite thorough and well-written without being too detailed. Only thing missing is a list of suggested programs to use for anti-virus and firewall etc., but they say that they are unable to endorse any particular product.

  1. liability….can’t endorse a security product otherwise people might sue them….

of course a properly worded disclaimer would do the trick.

Seems silly not to mention a few of the market leaders though, or even resell stuff as Barclays (used to?) do.
