Today, I installed from scratch (Debian Sarge) via the business card CD – over our shiny new University 100 megabit link (they have their own Debian mirror – whoosh!); the server was duly configured, the user accounts and email aliases were added. There are many other issues still to be resolved, but on this one I am happy. Now I can enjoy my birthday tomorrow.

If you lived in the US you would have a 3 day weekend as we celebrate Memorial Day on Monday. Sounds like you have been burning the candle at both ends.
PermalinkThree-day weekend here too: “End of May Bank Holiday”. However, I was back in work today (Sunday) packing up my office into crates for the removals.
And I think my candle has more than two ends … 🙂
