Well, it’s been very busy: setting up the new network at the new premises. All the gory details are here. While the removals guys were moving in all our furniture and PCs, we were patching the patch panels to the switches. This took three of us basically the whole day (one of us basically full-time, two more part-time), which is way longer than I’d thought … like a lot of aspects of this move, really; we’ll just have to roll with it, I suppose.
Basically a very productive day, though, which is good.
patching always takes 10 times more that you think. Esp if you create looms/label the patchs at both ends etc etc. Oh and that weird documentation thing 😉
