sungate.co.uk coming back online

Looks like the new DNS details for sungate.co.uk are slowly propogating now, which is good. If you still get errors emailing to sungate.co.uk or using the web site via www.sungate.co.uk then use the alternatives given previously, but as the propogation progresses, this shouldn’t be necessary.

The first sign that the domain was behaving properly was the arrival of the first piece of ‘Cheap Generic Viagra’ spam at about 10:00 this morning … 🙂

  1. Surely they should have reduced the TTL to 30 mins or so first, let the old TTL expire, then done the move.

Or am I being a pedant?

  2. That’s quite right, of
course. Except that $ISP[-1] is clueless. I say “I want to move” and th
ey immediately stop routing mail, and couldn’t give a *proverbial* about what
happens once I’m no longer paying them.
