About 10 years ago I contributed some Pet Shop Boys ‘cover versions’ to a project called “Attribute” (a play on words for “a tribute”) which was an attempt to create a PSB tribute CD and get it released. It never really happened, but the tracks I made are still floating around on the ‘net somewhere.
I was amused, therefore, when someone showed me that two of the four tracks I created had popped up on a random PSB bootleg CD. What makes it more amusing is that the remainder of the tracks on the CD are all ‘proper’ remixes or live versions.
Well it made me chuckle, anyway.
